Following the attack on Senator Ike Ekweremadu on Saturday by the members of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, IPOB, Nigerians have dug out the quote of Noble writer, Chinua Achebe.
Igbere TV had reported that Senator Ekweremadu was stoned with eggs when he attended a new Yam Festival in Germany.
According to Achebe, “He who travels to eat his ancestral Yam in a
foreign country should be ready for the wrath of dike the warriors
of the 7 seas and 7 mountains.” – 1995
With this quote, many Nigerians have said Achebe predicted
Ekweremadu’s attack before he died.
